What is FUE hair transplant

The FUE hair transplant, and any other method of hair transplant procedure for that matter, exist to solve hair loss. The loss of hair is something that shakes people deeply on an emotional level and even on a professional level as well. People that are very conscious of their appearance or need to look good professionally as well are deeply invested in their hair.

Advantages of FUE Hair Transplant
  • Natural-looking results – Since it is with a scalpel of 1mm or less that the excision and grafting proceeds, each graft is individual. Thus, each graft will grow as a single hair follicle in the receiving site as well giving a natural look hard to tell apart from the original hair. This is a sharp contrast to old techniques that made use of tools of much larger diameter.
  • Shorter Downtime – Since the incisions are so tiny, the actual recovery time from the surgery is short. You can return to work five days after it. Actual results begin to show after six to eight weeks pass with proper aftercare.
  • Long-Lasting – The hair of the back of the head, also known as the ‘donor site’ is thinning-resistant. And it remains thinning-resistant even when transplanted into its new home during the surgery. Thus, hair grafts from there will continue to grow on the chosen spot for many, many years to come.
